Smooth! This is the first vinyl pressing of Tommy Guerrero's beloved 4th album, From The Soil To The Soul. His distinctive, "blissful guitar-soul" sound has developed, and nods to Americana, heavy psych, lo-fi fuzz and latin rhythms are apparent. At the core though, this record is heavy on Guerrero's signature laid-back Frisco vibe, best captured on the sun-drenched opener "Hello Again" or the Brazilian-lounge-indebted "Salve." Also check out "Let Me In Let Me Out," the more energetic punk-rock number featuring Lyrics Born, or the satisfying Hammond B-3 stylings on "War No More." Fully remastered w/ oversight from Tommy, pressed on heavyweight wax, and artwork retouched by Barry McGee aka TWIST.
