Tom Waits: Foreign Affairs (180g, Clear Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP

Foreign Affairs came in the wake of the surprise commercial success of 1976’s Small Change. It continues Tom Waits’ ongoing partnership with Bones Howe in the producer chair making sense of his deranged blues-punk lounge singer pastiche. Aside from the bright and jazzy “I Never Talk To Strangers,” a duet with on-and-off girlfriend Bette Midler, the vibe throughout is decidedly moody and clandestine as the cover suggests ("She was a girl who was... not a girlfriend but she thought she was a girlfriend"). Also includes “A Sight For Sore Eyes,” “Burma-Shave,” “Muriel” and more. Clear 180 gram edition released by Anti- with remastered sound.

  • 180g clear vinyl pressing
