It's remix time! The "Preben" tracks from Todd Terje's full length get the remix treatment from fellow Norwegian disco man Prins Thomas, and veteran French producer I:Cube. Seeing as the original versions featured plenty of live instrumentation on the jazz-funk/nu-disco/lounge/library tip, it's not surprising the remixers chose these for the re-work to take the sound in a different direction. First up, I:Cube takes "Leisure Suit Preben" depths of balearic house bliss with swelling strings and pulsing arpeggios to take the dancers' breath away. On the flip, Prins Thomas adds a slinky disco thump to the breezy jazz-funk grooves of "Preben Goes To Acapulco," keeping those epic synth solos intact. Import 10" pressing with pic sleeve.
