Whiteout Conditions is the band's first album without longtime drummer Kurt Dahle and singer/lyricist Dan Bejar (Bejar hasn't left the band; rather he was busy working on the forthcoming 11th Destroyer album). Vocals are instead handled by Carl Newman and the wonderful Neko Case. Includes "High Ticket Attractions", "Whiteout Conditions" and 9 more slices of the band's reliably catchy power pop, this time propelled by a krautrock / postpunk-inspired beat.
