Talib Kweli & Madlib: Liberation Vinyl LP

Originally released in 2007 as a free download, Liberation is a collaborative 9-tracker featuring Talib Kweli on the mic and Madlib on the beats (and sometimes on the mic). Kweli is no stranger to working w/ one producer for an entire project (Reflection Eternal!), and his complex, poignant rhymes flow fluently over Monk Hughs production magic. There is definitely chemistry between these two hip-hop stalwarts, check out the following standouts from the album: “What Can I Do,” Happy Home,” “Soul Music,” and “Funny Money.”
