Debut EP from R.E.M. reissued. Originally released in 1982, Chronic Town introduced the world to the jangly alt rock sound of Michael Stipe, Bill Berry, Peter Buck, and Mike Mills. The band recorded the  EP in October 1981 at Drive Studio in North Carolina along with producer Mitch Easter who performed with various sonic experiments when recording Stipe's vocals. Includes "Wolves, Lower," "Ages Of You," "Gardening At Night," "Carnival Of Sorts," "1,000,000," and "Stumble." 5 tracks in all.
