Legendary Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi set the tone for the epic 1984 animated film with sweeping arrangements and touching melodies that perfectly soundtrack Nausicaa's quest to save the valley from a polluted, post-apocalyptic world. Hisaishi based the sounds contained here on the Image Album (and manga) made before production on the animation even started. This limited edition 2018 import reissue comes with illustrated score booklet, and is housed in a replica of the original 1984 cover, complete with obi and masterful artwork by director Hayao Miyazaki.
