Fifth studio album from Interpol, and their first release since 2010's self-titled release. Constantly chasing Turn On The Bright Lights, Interpol fans enter skeptically, but taking an informal poll of Lab friends, El Pintor seems to be a major improvement over the last two albums. I don't know how to substantiate it, as Interpol albums are like thick stews that need to be absorbed in long, specific sessions (like riding public transportation, feeling empty inside). First pressing on white vinyl with download code included.
